Myanmar Heritage Footage gifted To Myanmar

In November 2019, The Australian Government gifted footage of Myanmar from 1905 and 1943 to the Myanmar Government. The footage was presented by the Australian Ambassador, Ms Andrea Faulkner, as part of the Memory Film Festival’s Film Heritag

Mushroom Farming for People with Disabilities

In the small town of Yekyi, some five hours from Yangon, local people with disabilities are learning how to build their own mushroom farms. The three day training course was co-ordinated by the Shwe Min Thar Foundation with funding from the Australian Embassy in Yangon. The story aired nationally on the free to air TV Channel 5 Plus.

A Future Life – ShweZayTi Vicara Monastery – Yangon Myanmar (Assistant Producer)

Every day a student awakens the 200 residents at 4 am. They include monks, nuns, staff and over 150 improvised students who call ShweZayTi Vicara Monastery – home. From the early sounds of the alarm one monk and nuns have the responsibility to prepare breakfast. So starts the day – work, study, teaching and life lessons. Let meet the people who keep the Monastery running. 2020. The building construction featured in this story has been completed though the kindness and donations of many. Pay them a visit.

Saba Street Food Donations during Covid – Yangon Myanmar

SA BA STREET FOOD TOURS IN Downtown, Yangon offer tourists a very local experience by letting them ride in sidecars and experience traditional food from vendors. They also take tourists to markets and offer cooking classes. Since the Covid shutdowns their business has stopped. But they developed a new initiate to give-back to society by giving work to out of work vendors ….and also helping people in need. The initiative is called Sa Ba Street Food Donation Charity.
